Thanks to the Villa community and our co-chair Jo for arranging a private tour of this community for WRBN members.

Beautiful photos, MB! Nicely composed, and very reportorial.
I think the most astonishing thing about this beautiful neighborhood is that although it was developed around 1907 as a leafy, bucolic suburb of Chicago, today all but three or four of the 120-or-so homes in this defined area were built in a the tiny era 1907-1925.
As eclectic as the houses are, the overall impression of the Villa is a consistent, creative vision.
Your photos captured this very nicely, Maribeth. Nice going.
There is a $15.00 per household annual fee for those who wish to become WRBN members.
Don’t own a bungalow? Anyone who is interested in our meetings or tours is welcome to attend and / or become a WRBN member.
Regular meetings are open to all and free of charge. Due to budget/hours reductions at our public libray, we're now exploring alternative meeting locations. Tours and parties are free of charge for members who have paid the annual $15.00 fee.
