Established in 2003, West Ridge Bungalow Neighbors is a voluntary group of neighbors in Chicago who desire to assist each other in preserving and appreciating the homes in our neighborhood; educating each other and the broader public in the value and the story of our neighborhood; and providing resources to each other to improve the quality of our homes, enrich our lives and assure our neighborhood's future.

Many, many thanks for alerting me to Diamond Dame Web site. on the other hand, maybe I am not so thankful. I spent far too much time there tonight. The breadth of material, the backstory on the photos and the organization are outstanding.

I will return the favor by presenting you to a site that will soak up your discretionary time and enrich your life. Here it is:

6th Annual WRBN post-holiday party!

Let's skip over the fact that I've not posted here since November and get right to the point...it's PARTY TIME! Join us on Saturday, January 16th to walk, wine and dine between 3 different West Ridge bungalows. You need to be a member to attend, but all (not just bungalow dwellers)are welcome to join for just $15.00 per household per year.
This Library of Congress photo is from the fun Diamond Dame blog, a great source of all sorts of things from the 1920s.
