Established in 2003, West Ridge Bungalow Neighbors is a voluntary group of neighbors in Chicago who desire to assist each other in preserving and appreciating the homes in our neighborhood; educating each other and the broader public in the value and the story of our neighborhood; and providing resources to each other to improve the quality of our homes, enrich our lives and assure our neighborhood's future.

Rock On!
Looking a lot like a Gabion basket wall, a creative fence design in progress in a bungalow back yard on the 6700 block of N. Talman.

It doesn't look quite done. Do you have any updates on it?
Hi James, The wire in the photo didn't hold -too light weight. Our neighbor removed all of it and started over with some rigid metal grids which still are bulging slightly and would benefit from some metal cross-ties. Overall the effect is very nice, if you'll contact me directly I will send you a photo. MB
There is a $15.00 per household annual fee for those who wish to become WRBN members.
Don’t own a bungalow? Anyone who is interested in our meetings or tours is welcome to attend and / or become a WRBN member.
Regular meetings are open to all and free of charge. Due to budget/hours reductions at our public libray, we're now exploring alternative meeting locations. Tours and parties are free of charge for members who have paid the annual $15.00 fee.
