Devon Avenue makes the 2008 Preservation Chicago "Chicago Seven" list
Kudos to Preservation Chicago for including our historic 1920 -30s Devon commercial district buildings on their 2008 "Chicago Seven" list. Click here for the full story.
I grew up in Rogers park and to me it is home..although I left it for several chapters in my adulthood.Every childhood memory incolves "the patch"the schools church and stores. We did not have a car and therefore work and friends were all within the vicinity.
There is a $15.00 per household annual fee for those who wish to become WRBN members.
Don’t own a bungalow? Anyone who is interested in our meetings or tours is welcome to attend and / or become a WRBN member.
Regular meetings are open to all and free of charge. Due to budget/hours reductions at our public libray, we're now exploring alternative meeting locations. Tours and parties are free of charge for members who have paid the annual $15.00 fee.
